According to media reports, Dell announced Monday, will be 3.9 billion cash acquisition of IT services provider Perot Systems.
Dell said it will pay 30 U.S. dollars per share purchase price of Perot Systems, and Perot Systems last Friday’s closing price of 17.91 U.S. dollars compared with a premium of 67%. The transaction is expected by next January be completed within the fiscal fourth quarter, then, Perot Systems will become Dell’s service sector, from the current CEO Bideaote Perot Violet Peel (Peter Altabef) leadership.
After the merger, Dell’s annual service revenues will reach 80 billion U.S. dollars. Dell CEO Michael Dell (Michael Dell) said in a statement: "Perot Systems is a valuable asset, can promote short-term and long-term Dell growth. More importantly, both parties are clearly complementary businesses. "
